KIDS Are TOPS Sports Center will be hosting a Grand Opening of its new facility on Saturday, April 28, 2007 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The festivities will include a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:00 pm plus exhibitions by our competitive team members in gymnastics, dance and cheerleading throughout the day. Visitors will also be able to try out our swimming, gymnastics, cheer, dance, art and Tumble Bunny Land preschool gymnastics programs with FREE trial lessons. Guided tours will also be available throughout the day. Look for Grand Opening specials such as FREE t-shirts, special drawings and unique gifts with any new sign-up throughout the event! Special guests in attendance and signing autographs during the Grand Opening will be former Olympians, John Roethlisberger and John McCready. Roethlisberger was a member of six World Championship Teams and a member of the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Olympic Teams. Roethlisberger is one of the most accomplished male gymnasts in American history. McCready was a competitive gymnast and a member of the United States Senior National Team from 1993-2000. He was a member of the 1995 and 1997 World Championship Teams as well as the 1996 Olympic Team. About KIDS Are TOPS Sports Center: KIDS Are TOPS Sports Center, founded in Centerville, Ohio in 1981 as TOPS Gymnastics Club, celebrated its 25th anniversary with the opening of a beautiful sports complex on Paragon Road in Centerville. TOPS moved from its previous 15,000 square foot facility on Congress Park Drive to this new 5.5 acre, 40,000 square foot facility in January, 2007. This state of the art facility offers the quality high energy programs in gymnastics, swimming, dance, cheerleading, music, performance arts, birthday parties and more. TOPS Gymnastics Club, Inc. has been serving the greater Dayton area since 1981 under the ownership of Gary and Debbie Gantz and their daughter, Dawn Marzluff. TOPS will continue their goal as a professional sports and performing arts center not only to develop students to their full potential, but through their staff of dedicated and trained professionals - give them care and a good example to follow as they grow both physically and mentally. The new KIDS Are TOPS Sports Center will guarantee TOPS tradition of offering one of the most modern and safest training facilities in the Midwest! Our competitive Levels 4 through 8 gymnasts, cheerleaders and dancers ended their seasons strongly in March with top placing in state and regional competitions. All of our Level 9 gymnasts qualified at the state competition for regional competition in Midlands, Michigan and hopefully on to Nationals in Florida in May. Tops staff of over 40 features nearly 200 years of teaching experience and are safety certified and licensed by the national governing body, USA Gymnastics and the United States Swim School Association. TOPS currently offers instructional and competitive programs in gymnastics, cheerleading, dance and instructional swimming, music and art programs.
